Performance
As expected from a Sony brand product once again this TV offers excellent performance all round. The LCD technology that Sony offer today has progressed somewhat from the past, and as expected is even better than before. The flat panel screen on the KDL32V4000 only outputs strong blacks giving a clear and sharp picture able of differentiating between dark scenes in a film say. This has an effect of portraying vibrant colours due to its excllent black levels.
In the early days of the LCD screen, it struggled to graps fast moving pictures such as sports and fast action in films. The 32W4000 however is proud to boast perhaps is most appealing and impressive feature, with enhanced performance. There's no trace of motion blur or what is known as 'ghosting', perhaps the best in its class this model handles fast motion superbly.
Overall I think its fair to say that the Sony KDL32V4000 conclusion is that its a LCD Widescreen TV that is impressive and very good in part, and at best excellent in other areas. Many will be attracted by the cutting edge design by this TV, but above all it also offers a great picture performance.
